Sixteen Sands is a UK registered special purpose company set up to collaborate with the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences University of Surrey to develop Vision-Based AI Techniques for Fusion of UAV and Satellite Hyperspectral Imagery in Sustainable Agricultural Management.
We use state-of-the-art sensors to gather data on soil quality, moisture levels, and plant health, providing you with valuable insights that can help you make informed decisions about your crops.
Founded and funded by its Executive Chairman Mr. Abayomi Awobokun, Sixteen Sands is investing in this University of Surrey research project with the objective of developing a precision agriculture Decision Support System (DSS) by integrating data from satellite imagery and UAVs and leveraging the learned embeddings from the Hyper- Kon network for hyperspectral Imagery in Sustainable Agricultural Management.
Sixteen Sands expects this research and the subsequent intellectual property developed to facilitate better decision-making regarding crop management practices, resource allocation, and sustainable agricultural practice.
